Birth doula
See you first for a short, free, unconditional call. After that, we meet at least three times during pregnancy, with room for more meetings if you wish. Then we talk about expectations and desires and we prepare for childbirth, both theoretically and practically. During the preparation for childbirth at home, we go through, among other things: Physiology of childbirth and pregnancy Non-medical and medical pain relief Mental tools during pregnancy and childbirth Feed without fear and the four tools How we can build a team around the birth Common hospital procedures and how we make informed choices Breastfeeding and responsive bottle feeding Planning for postpartum Your doula is on call from two weeks before the estimated date of birth until the baby arrives. There is always a back-up doula attached to your family, who can intervene in case of illness. Your doula is with you throughout the delivery and stays for a while after the birth. One of the most common questions we get is * “When are you going to give birth?” * and we always reply “When you need us” . For the vast majority, this means that we come to you at home, when the work starts, and it feels like mental support, massage, and a larger team would be out of place. We always meet once after birth to go through the birthing experience and for continued support. We are always there to process emotions surrounding childbirth, whether these come the week or the year after birth. The layout can be modified as desired.

Vi träffas under graviditeten för att förbereda inför födseln och tiden efteråt. Här får ni praktiska verktyg att använda er av – mentala verktyg, smärtlindring och avslappning. Hur många gånger vi ses och hur samtalen utformas beror på dina/era önskemål. För dig som vill utrusta dig själv och din stödperson med en doulas alla tips och trix, för att göra er väl förberedda inför förlossningen! Har du bokat förlossningsdoula så ingår alltid detta.

Konsultation i Aktiv Baby
Felicia B-N och Felicia A ger konsultationer i Aktiv Baby. Aktiv Baby är enkla och specifika övningar som hjälper bebisen att inta optimal position i livmodern under graviditeten, genom att skapa balans och hälsa i ligament, bäcken och muskler. Övningarna kan också användas under födsel för att underlätta för barnet att göra sina rotationer och ta sig ner i bäckenet, vilket kan minska risken för komplikationer. Läs gärna mer om metoden HÄR:

Feed without fear
Felicia B-N and Julia are instructors in Feeding Without Fear, and we offer courses both in group and private, for those who wish. A course in Feeding Without Fear gives you as a birther and your support person concrete tools to use during childbirth (.. and beyond). The focus of the course is to create conditions for emotional security, regardless of how you choose to give birth. The body's birth hormone is oxytocin, it's what makes the uterus work, but it also “happens” to be our safety hormone. The gas of childbirth, then, is security! ** The brake is **adrenaline, the hormone secreted when we're afraid/stressed. You gain an understanding of the body and physiology during childbirth. You will get practical tools to use during childbirth.” You can practice together!

Do you really need a doula? ** During this consultation, you have the opportunity to explore what doula support could have meant for you. We look at your support needs, your longing for birth/the time after birth and whether there is any type of worry or chafing. I will tell you about what I as a doula can do for you and you will have the opportunity to ask all your questions, no questions are off-limits. There has to be a vibe, a feeling that “this is our doula”! It's good to meet a couple of doulas, to “date” a bit. After the consultation, you can go home and think in peace.
